I brought my cat Bean here for her yearly checkup. The staff was amazing, got us in quick, and made sure she was good. I trust them with her, and will definitely be back!
Dolly the boxer had an appointment recently at Crosswinds. She never shows anxiety about coming here because everyone is always so hands-on and loving with her. Dr. Hait and Nicki, the tech, were absolutely wonderful with Dolly, and their thorough examination, diagnosis, and treatment put me completely at ease. We were at Crosswinds a few months ago and had Dr. Brauneis. She was great also. I strongly recommend Crosswinds Animal Hospital on Verdae Blvd.
Dolly the boxer had another appointment this week, this time with Dr. Powell. She was so loving and gentle with Dolly, as were Adley and Ella, the tech and assistant. Dr. Powell took extra time to answer all my questions and concerns. I can't say enough about Crosswinds Animal Hospital: the vets, techs, assistants, front desk staff--it doesn't matter. They are all absolutely exceptional! Dolly loves coming here and I think that says a lot about the very positive atmosphere at Crosswinds!
We were back at Crosswinds this week. Even as we drive into the parking lot, Dolly the boxer senses she's back at one of her favorite places. She tugs on her leash to get in the door--because everyone there treats her so affectionately.
We had Dr. Washburn and Amber, the tech, this time. Both were excellent in their examination of Dolly and the diagnosis of her recent breathing problem. They, thankfully, set my mind at ease.
Growing up, I wish I was as eager and enthusiastic to visit my doctor as Dolly is to see her vet! So far, we've had Drs. Brauneis, Hait, Powell, and Washburn. All are extraordinary!
Dolly the boxer just didn't act herself Wednesday morning this week and didn't want any food or water at breakfast. She was lethargic and just laid on the floor. I called Crosswinds and we were able to get in that afternoon. Dolly is always treated with love there and I think she was feeling that as soon as we turned into the parking lot. This dog with no energy or appetite couldn't wait to get inside! Dolly was thoroughly examined by Dr. Washburn and Rachel, the tech. They took blood and ran a test (which came back as normal) and also gave Dolly fluids by subcutaneous injection. Dr. Washburn recommended that I feed Dolly boiled chicken and rice for the next few days. We came home and fixed that for supper, and she showed that her appetite was back! Every boiled chicken and rice meal since has been a hit. By Thursday (yesterday) Dolly was back to her normal, energetic, and comical boxer self! This morning, Dr. Washburn called to see how Dolly was doing. I really appreciated that!
I can't say enough about how much we trust Crosswinds. They have come through every time.
Bentley, my eight year old Havanese, woke up on a Sunday with something wrong with his right eye. I called Crosswinds as soon as they opened on Monday and was offered a visit that AM. He was diagnosed with a scratch on the eyeball, given a drug to drop in the eye twice daily. Two days have passed and he's doing much better. I've been to many Vet clinics, worked with my cousins who were Vets, and Crosswinds is an outstanding organization.
